For Volvo P2 Space ball manual transmissions, shifter assembly doesn't not comes with thread, only design to fit OEM shift knob, which eliminated the aftermarket shift knob options. Many enthusiasts would like to have the option to run an aftermarket shift knob for increase engagement, and performance, this adapter would be perfect for you. With M12x1.25 thread, this adapter allow most of the aftermarket shift knob fit on to our Spaceball without tapping the original shaft. The design perfectly blend with the bottom portion of the shaft, clean and sporty. We also provide the option of full aluminum ball shape shift knob to resemble the looks of gated manual while keeping the space ball taste. 

This Shift Knob Adapter can be use on both OEM shaft and Snabb Short Shifter Kit.
