SHIPPING POLICY
All R+ Engineering products are made to order and are not in stock unless stated on the description of the product.
Shipping is handled as soon as the part is finished either by UPS Ground or an LTL company.

SHIPPING DAMAGE
We pack all products carefully to prevent damage during shipping, however, damage may still occur occasionally. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver’s presence. Buyer must retain all cartons, packing materials, and damaged products for the carrier’s damage inspector to inspect. Do not refuse shipment or return it without approval, because the buyer’s right to make a damage claim may be denied. A signed receipt without any notation indemnified the carrier as well as R+ Engineering from any further damage claims. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer. Please document the product and box with at least 7 photos and email within 24 hours.

Picture of the box
If the box is damaged, take a picture showing the damage/marks/dents. If it’s not damaged, still take a picture of it showing no box damage.

Take first picture of the damaged area (zoom in), take second picture of the damaged area (zoom out), set the damaged product next to the box showing corresponding box damage/marks/dents. All damage must be notified to carrier and R+ Engineering within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notation on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to the distributor and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount should be addressed with the carrier. R+ Engineering, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.
A thorough inspection of all parts upon delivery is required with the delivery driver present for any and all insurance claims. We do our best to protect your parts in transit but if a claim is needed, please get the driver to put it in writing, sign it and take photos.
SHIPPING ERROR
If the consignee receives an incorrect item due to R+ Engineering error, consignee must inform the us within 3 days of receipt of shipment. R+ Engineering will then issue a Call Tag to pick up the incorrect item(s) and ship the correct item(s) at no additional charges.
